He retired in recent years from Reid and Reid Logging. He was a 1968 graduate of Lockesburg High School, and shortly following, began his logging career with Thornton Logging. Thomas Ray was born the oldest of four children to the union of Thomas Monroe and Bessie Allene Dixson Thornton on June 6, 1950, in De Queen, Arkansas. Thomas Ray Thornton, age 72, resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, Texas. Crum will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2023, at Campground Cemetery in Winthrop with Doug Clements officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.įamily will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home in De Queen. Graveside services with Masonic rites for Mr. and Karen Crum of De Queen and Justin Crum of De Queen one grandson, Cameron Crum of De Queen and close friend, Betty Taylor. He loved getting together with his family and spoiling his grandson, Cameron. He liked his hunting, fishing, airplanes, motorcycles and wrestling.
